In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the statewide stay-at-home order, CASL has taken steps to continue to provide services to our most vulnerable clients and other community residents both remotely and, in some cases, in person with appropriate precautions.

For these reasons, we are suspending all in-person volunteer opportunities at this time.

If you would like to support CASL’s programs during this challenging time, you may do so in any of the following ways:

Donate to the CASL RELIEF FUND to provide urgent items and services that are desperately needed by our clients and staff — meals and groceries for seniors and PPE (hand sanitizer, masks, and gloves) for staff taking care of them.

Donate needed in-kind items for our families and staff. These include non-perishable groceries (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper, canned food) and hand sanitizer, masks, and gloves. You can ship them directly to CASL, addressed to the CASL RELIEF FUND, 2141 S. Princeton Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 or contact volunteer@caslservice.org to arrange a drop-off time.

Follow, share, and interact with CASL on social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and sign up for our emails to stay informed and spread the word about our programs and opportunities to support us.

Volunteers contribute significantly towards the fulfillment of CASL’s mission, purpose, and goals. We have opportunities to work directly with our clients (children, teens, adults, and seniors) or behind-the-scenes in administrative roles. We appreciate your time and desire to volunteer! For information on volunteering opportunities for adults, view the open opportunities from the menu on the left or email volunteer@caslservice.org.
