CASL STEM Scholarship

CASL STEM Scholarship Fund

What is STEM? Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Donate to play a vital role in supporting female students engaged in these fields!

The CASL STEM Scholarship was initiated by Ann and Tony Yeung thanks to their shared passion for education and STEM subjects. Ann and Tony discovered their enthusiasm for STEM at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Following graduation, both went on to successful careers in STEM-related fields.

As native southside Chicagoans from the Chinatown/Bridgeport neighborhood, the Yeungs wanted to give back to the community they came from. They hope this scholarship will help new generations of young Chinese women from the southside of Chicago in achieving their educational pursuits studying STEM.

As CASL implements the steps of awarding this brand new scholarship, it also looks to the future, hoping others in the community will consider donating to the CASL STEM Scholarship Fund.

Congratulations!

Kaixi Ren and Kelly Lin are the 2023 recipients of the CASL STEM scholarship!
