Volunteers contribute significantly towards the fulfillment of CASL’s mission to connect people of all ages and backgrounds to the vital support they need to thrive in the Chicago community. Below are some of the ways adult volunteers can get involved. If your are under the age of 18, please contact Joanna Lu for opportunities.

Please review all opportunities to be sure you are willing to make the requested time commitments and have the appropriate qualifications before applying.

•Types of Individual Volunteers•

  • REGULAR: Individuals who volunteer on a consistent basis. This could range from weekly, monthly or even quarterly. These volunteers are scheduled to regularly volunteer, generally with specific programs on determined dates.
  • SPECIAL EVENT/PROGRAM: Individuals who volunteer for a specific project. This could be prior to an event to assist with event preparation, at-event or post event.
  • SPECIAL PROJECT: Individuals who volunteer their time to work on specific projects or tasks having a clear start and end date.
  • BOARD: Members of CASL’s Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and Associate Board.
