National Certified Dementia Practitioner Training
CASL’s Alzheimer’s Program is offering this training for FREE to selected staff from community partners. Such partners are committed to making our Chicago Chinese American community more dementia friendly by providing home and community based services to people with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia–or to those who are at risk. Essential topics include: fundamental education on dementia, communication techniques, sensitive strategies for assisting individuals with ADRD, behavioral/care interventions that may be used to handle difficult care situations, and caregiver stress reduction techniques.
