ASSOCIATE BOARD HISTORY

For almost 20 years, Chinese American Service League’s Associate Board has served as an avenue for young professionals throughout the Chicago area to get involved with CASL.  As one of  CASL’s three boards, the Associate Board is a great opportunity for new generations to give back to the community, build their networks and grow their leadership skills.

The Associate Board of the Chinese American Service League serves to further the mission of CASL through three key pillars:

• Community service to  CASL constituents & the Asian-American community in Chicago
• Fundraising & awareness events to raise the profile of CASL in our communities
• Social events to build network of CASL Associate Board members

Past Associate Board Events include:

• Toy Drives
• Voter Registration
• Beer Tasting
• Service events with CASL youth
• Mixers with other Chicago-area APA groups
• Career Panels & Resume Reviews

GET INVOLVED

There are many ways to get involved in CASL’s Associate Board from executive & committee positions to “member-at-large” ambassadorship.  We welcome young professionals of all backgrounds with an interest in service to the Asian-American community to join the Associate Board.
