Housing & Financial Education Department

Housing and Financial Education Department

CASL Housing & Financial Education Department is designed to educate and assist those with housing and financial literacy needs. With startup funds from Charter One Bank, CASL opened the Housing Center in July 2005, offering seminars, workshops, and individual counseling on financial literacy and housing. This department has a bilingual collection of information on a variety of housing and financial literary topics in both English and Chinese.  U.S. Bank now serves as the lead corporate supporter of this department.

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
We assist low-income families to apply for LIHEAP, follow up on applications and advocate on behalf of their energy needs. We also help families access other federally funded programs, depending on the availability.

CASL is now accepting applications for the LIHEAP 2012 Energy Assistance Program. Flyers are now available in English and Chinese!
