The EAN is an initiative of the Chicago Climate Action Plan (CCAP). The CCAP lays out ambitious goals for reducing Chicago’s greenhouse gas emissions, while supporting economically healthy communities. One of the cornerstones of the CCAP is the reduction of energy use in residential buildings. CASL is proud to be a member of EAN since its launch in 2009, and is proactively working with other organizations to help residents increase community awareness of climate change and energy use and engage in energy efficiency and other climate action work.
